Community Rules

The Signal is a free-speech platform. We don't shadowban, we don't run an algorithm that decides what you see, and we don't police opinions. But "no leash" is not "no limits" — a few things are off the table because they're illegal, harm real people, or would get the whole platform taken down. Break these and your content gets removed and your account can be banned.

Absolutely not allowed

• Anything sexual involving minors. Zero tolerance. Reported to NCMEC and law enforcement, always.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery (revenge porn, hidden-camera, leaked private content).
• Real, credible threats of violence against a person or group, or content coordinating it.
• Content that facilitates human trafficking or the exploitation of others.
• Doxxing — posting someone's private personal information to endanger or harass them.
• Anything else that is genuinely illegal under applicable law.

Adult content (18+)

The Signal allows adult content, but you must be 18 or older to use the platform. Mark adult posts NSFW so they stay blurred behind an age-gate. Anyone depicted in adult content you post must be an adult who consented to it. Misrepresenting your age is on you — see the Terms & Age Policy.

Be a person, not a spam bot

• No mass-spamming, scam links, or fake-engagement schemes.
• No impersonating other people or brands to deceive.
• Selling is welcome (use the Shop feature), but no fraudulent or illegal goods.

You're in control

Don't like someone? You have tools: mute them, hide their posts, block them, or report anything that breaks these rules. Reports are reviewed and actioned.

Enforcement

We remove content and ban accounts that break these rules, at our discretion, to keep the platform legal and usable. Repeat or serious violations mean a permanent ban.
