Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe content on The Signal infringes your copyright, send a written notice including all of the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
3. The specific URL(s) or location of the allegedly infringing material.
4. Your contact information (name, address, email, phone).
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Reporting Unlawful or Non-Consensual Content

To report illegal content, non-consensual intimate imagery, or any content involving a minor, use the in-app report tool or contact us immediately at the address below. Reports involving child sexual abuse material are treated with the highest priority, removed, preserved as required by law, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate authorities.

Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief, and your consent to jurisdiction.
